Grape Escapes Moves Into Spain

Grape Escapes are delighted to be supporting Tesco Wine Club once again and would like to introduce our new Spanish tours which will be based in Ribera del Duero.

Located in Spain’s northern plateau, Ribera del Duero is approximately one and a half hours from Madrid. Since the 1990’s, the region has become a premier source of world class red wines. Ribera del Duero was officially designated a D.O region in 1982 and since then the area has been transformed through the replanting of vineyards and the investment in modern winemaking techniques by both small family-run wineries and large corporations. It is also home to arguably Spain’s most prestigious wine, Vega Sicilia.

Champagne Tasting Weekends

We organise five types of Champagne Tasting Weekends (Deluxe, Prestige, Harvest, Meet the Maker, and Adventure) as well as two new budget tours - the basic tour and the standard tour. Details of all of these are found on our Champagne Escapes website.

Bordeaux Wine Tasting Tours

We offer six types of Bordeaux Tasting Tours - our Traditional Medoc and St Emilion Wine Tour; our 1855 Classic Clarets Tour; our Premium Claret Tasting Weekend Tour; our Basic Wine Tasting Tour; our Standard Wine Tasting Tour; and our Standard Plus Wine Tour - as well as many private wine tasting tours for individuals, groups and corporate clients. Burgundy Wine Tasting Holidays

Our Burgundy Wine Tasting Holidays are based in Dijon. We visit various premium wineries in the main Burgundy regions of Beaune, Puligny Montrachet, the Cote de Nuits, Aloxe Corton, Savigny Les Beaune and the Cote de Beaune.

The Rhone Wine Tasting Breaks

We run private Rhone Wine Tasting Trips which are normally based in Avignon. We visit various premium wineries in the main wine regions of The Southern Rhone, such as Gigondas, the Dentelles (often Rasteau or Seguret), and of course, Chateauneuf-du-Pape.

The Loire Wine Tasting Trips

We run various private Loire Wine Tasting Trips throughout the year for individuals, groups and corporate clients. Based in either Tours or Saumur, we visit such areas as Chinon, Vouvray, Bourgeuil and Montlouis sur Loire.

All of our wine tasting tours are designed with flexibility in mind, so you can choose how you wish to travel (drive, train or fly), what grade of accomodation you want, and how long you wish to stay etc.
