Grape Escapes is a specialist wine tour operator, offering wine tours to France and Spain. We offer a broad range of wine tasting tours and trips to the vineyards in Ribera del Duero and the main French wine regions: Champagne, Bordeaux, Burgundy, The Rhône and The Loire. We run numerous wine tasting trips for individuals, groups (social groups, hen weekends, wine clubs, car clubs, and birthday trips among others), as well as wine tasting trips for corporate clients.

This six day Flexible Break visits a selection of prestigious wineries in the Rhône Valley, travelling between each by train. Staying in Vienne for two nights, the Northern Rhône is explored first with a train ride through the vineyards to the world-famous Chapoutier domaine for a premium tasting session. Guests then climb the vineyard-covered Hermitage Hill to the iconic "La Chapelle" to admire some breathtaking views . The tour also includes a visit to the oldest estate in the Rhône Valley for a tour of the cellars and tastings of the domaine's wines.
The trip then continues to the Southern Rhône with a train ride to Avignon. On an escorted day tour, our guests will have the chance to visit the famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation as well as discover the wines of Gigondas and Vacqueyras.

Grape Escapes Flexible Breaks in Bordeaux and Burgundy
For those of you who are looking for a mid-week or weekend break that offers a good introduction to the various tastes and styles of wines available in Burgundy or Bordeaux, these tours may be the answer. These packages are designed with total flexibility in mind. Choose between a two and three night stay, in UNESCO-classified Bordeaux, the impressive town of Beaune or the historic city of Dijon. Everything is within walking distance of the city centre and the transported tours have a central departure point (as opposed to our Premium tour, where guests are met at and returned to their hotels). We organise five types of Champagne Tasting Weekends (Deluxe, Prestige, Harvest, Meet the Maker, and Adventure) as well as five flexible tours - Standard and Standard Plus Champagne Breaks, Budget Champagne and the Château and Spa Breaks. Bordeaux Wine Tasting Tours
We offer five types of Bordeaux Tasting Tours - our Traditional Médoc and St Emilion Wine Tour; our 1855 Classic Clarets Tour; our Budget Bordeaux Wine Tasting Tour; our Standard Wine Tasting Tour; and our Standard Plus Wine Tour - as well as many private wine tasting tours for individuals, groups and corporate clients. A quality Bordeaux wine tour could very well be one of the best wine tours in France.
Burgundy Wine Tasting Holidays
Our premium Burgundy Wine Tasting Holidays are based in Dijon. We visit various premium wineries in the main Burgundy regions of Beaune, Puligny Montrachet, the Cote de Nuits, Aloxe Corton, Savigny Les Beaune and the Cote de Beaune. We also offer two and three night flexible breaks based in your choice of Beaune or Dijon- the Budget, Standard and Standard Plus Burgundy tours.
The Rhône Wine Tasting Breaks
We run private Rhône Wine Tasting Trips which are normally based in Avignon. We visit various premium wineries in the main wine regions of The Southern Rhône, such as Gigondas, the Dentelles (often Rasteau or Seguret), and of course, Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Coming Soon - Flexible three night breaks to the Northern Rhône to discover prestigious wines from highly-regarded vineyards such as Condrieu and Hermitage.
The Loire Wine Tasting Trips
We run various private Loire Wine Tasting Trips throughout the year for individuals, groups and corporate clients. Based in either Tours or Saumur, we visit such areas as Chinon, Vouvray, Bourgeuil and Montlouis sur Loire.
