You will have time to admire the breathtaking views across the Valley from the iconic “La Chapelle,” a stone chapel which was allegedly built by a 13th Century knight who fell in love with the vineyards here. Enhance your Experience/Tour Upgrades

Please contact us to request further details and a full list of tour upgrades.

If you would like to make your Grape Escapes holiday even more special, there are a number of additional activities that we can arrange for you. To complement the experience, these could be arranged to fit in/around your current itinerary or we can arrange additional nights and room upgrades at your hotel, as well as your travel arrangements, a stop-over en route and even a visit to another part of France! See below for some of the most popular upgrades.

  • Stay longer! An extra night’s bed and breakfast costs £76 per person at le Beau Rivage, £95 per person at Hotel la Villéon or £82 per person at the Cloître Saint Louis.
  • Stop in Lyon en route to Condrieu. Lyon is a very popular destination amongst gastronomy lovers and we thoroughly recommend spending a night here en route to Condrieu to enjoy dinner in one of the city’s numerous Michelin-starred restaurants.
  • Soak up the sun in Provence. It would be a shame not to take the time to bask in the Southern French sunshine, as Provence is so close to the Southern Rhône. Marseille is just 1 ½ hours from Avignon and Nice and Cannes are within 2 ½ hours. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and we would be pleased to put together a tailor-made tour extension for you.
  • Paris is just two hours from Lyon by train. Let us create the perfect itinerary for you in the city of love.
