Contact UsFor those looking for a mid-week or weekend wine tour with a good introduction to the various tastes and styles of Languedoc wines available, this may be the answer. The authentic Southern French wine bar for the introductory tasting session is situated within walking-distance of the hotel, inside the ancient walls of the city centre, and your guide will collect you from Hotel du Château for the full day transported tour(s).
Depending on your specific tastes and preferences and the day which your tour falls on, you can choose between a tour of the famous Minervois appellation, world renowned for some of the region’s finest wines to visit two wineries (one of which is located in Livinère, the only Cru in the Minervois) or Corbières and Lagrasse, famed for their rocky vine-covered hillsides. On this tour, visits and tastings will take place at two wineries. There will be a maximum of eight guests on both tours and a traditional lunch with wines will be served in a picturesque location. If your tour day falls on a Sunday, you will be taken to the Minervois and the pretty village of Saint-Chinian for two visits and tastings with lunch. For those booking the four day break, enjoy both full day tours. Just let us know which date would be most convenient for you, and we will advise which specific tour(s) will be available.
