On this luxury tour, you will be met at your hotel in Paris by a chauffeured vehicle, which will accompany you throughout the day on a private basis. During the course of the day you will firstly visit a small boutique Champagne House, for a full tour of their estate and cellars, with tastings of at least three Champagnes.. You will then be taken to the beautiful hilltop village of Hautvillers, where Dom Pérignon lived and is buried. Here, you will enjoy a comparative tasting session of three single varietal Champagnes, accompanied by a platter of gourmet delicacies and local cheeses.
The highlight of your tour will without a doubt be a visit to the largest Champagne House, Moët and Chandon, where you will have an exclusive Dom Pérignon tour. You will be visiting some of the oldest areas of the cellars which are seldom visited by the public. A tasting of Dom Pérignon will conclude the visit in an elegant reception room at the Moët mansion.
If you would like to spend an extra hour in the region, a twelve hour tour is possible. The extra hour provides you with the opportunity to visit your favourite large, prestigious Champagne House for a tour and tastings. Options include Taittinger, where three Champagnes will be served including their Prestige Cuvée les Comtes de Champagne Blancs de Blancs, GH Mumm to taste their Blanc de Blancs and Blancs de Noirs Champagnes, Pommery to sample two Champagnes, Ruinart to taste Ruinart Blanc de Blancs or Ruinart rosé followed by their flagship Prestige Cuvée Dom Ruinart, white or rosé and Veuve Clicquot, to enjoy a flute of their celebrated La Grande Dame.
