Contact UsOur three and four day Exclusive breaks in Beaune offer the ultimate luxury experience for lovers of Burgundy wines. Accommodation is provided at the elegant Hotel le Cep, where guests will enjoy a top quality level of service, as well as an on-site Michelin-starred restaurant.
On day two, you will be met at the hotel by an English-speaking driver/guide who will accompany you throughout the day on a private transported tour of this world-famous wine region. Visiting three wineries in the Côte de Nuits throughout the course of the day, guests are free to request their favourite estates in famous villages such as Gevrey-Chambertin and Vosne-Romanée.
Please note that a number of the more exclusive estates do not tend to receive visitors at weekends and some of them do not receive visitors at all. We would be pleased to discuss the various options with you and contact the individual estates accordingly. One of the highlights of the day will be a visit to a premium domaine in the quaint village of Aloxe-Corton, the only village in Burgundy to boast both red and white Grand Cru wines. You will see their vineyards and historic cellars, and conclude your visit with a three course lunch, accompanied by six of their Grand Cru wines.
If you opt for the four day package, you will be taken on a second private guided tour, this time to the Côte de Beaune, the true home of the Chardonnay grape. In Puligny-Montrachet, you will be welcomed as the guests of one of the biggest names in the village. The experience will include a broad tasting of seven wines from the Côte de Beaune offered alongside a delightful three course lunch. The owners and staff are very gracious hosts and the wine tastings and meal always prove both enjoyable and enlightening. If you are visiting the estate on a Saturday, a vineyard tour will also be included in your experience. In the afternoon, we can again arrange a visit for you to your favourite winery in villages such as Meursault or Pommard.

Availability cannot be guaranteed until we have received a confirmed booking, together with the deposit payment (or payment in full where the dates of travel are in less than 60 days). If the named accommodation / visits are not available, we will endeavour to find suitable alternatives of a similar grade; this may be subject to a supplement or a rebate depending on the price available.
I recently went on a Grape Escapes wine tasting tour of the Burgundy vineyards with my son. Both he and I live and work outside the UK, and our opportunities to meet up are rare. It was great to spend time with him experiencing some of the world’s great wines in fantastic settings like Aloxe Corton and Gevrey Chambertin. We had previously visited Champagne together, and will definitely be travelling with Grape Escapes again in the future
