Residencia Real Castillo de Curiel.
Superior Grade - Hotel Ribera Del Duero
This former flour factory, located alongside the edges of the castle of Penafiel, dates back to the late nineteenth century. Today, the hotel boasts charm, character, courtesy, calmness and fine cuisine. The comfortable and elegant rooms are all well-equipped and maintained to a high standard, and the hotel’s restaurant combines traditional dishes with a wide-ranging collection of wines.
Elegant Grade - Hotel Convento Las Claras
Located in Penafiel on the banks of the Duratón river, the Hotel Convento Las Claras is a historical 4* complex. The convent was built in 1606, and its original structure, panelling and architectural features have been respected as much as possible during its transformation into a modern, elegant hotel. The central patio of the Grand Cloister is today covered with a glass cupola and serves as a relaxing lounge area. The gourmet restaurant is situated in the convent’s former chapel. Each of the 64 rooms are air-conditioned, with large twin or double beds and modern, light wood flooring.
Luxury Grade - Hacienda Abascal
This spectacular five bedroomed wine hotel is a real gem. Completed in 2005, the contemporary, avant garde hacienda lies in the very heart of the wine region. You will be staying amongst the 17.5 hectares of vines, and the boutique hotel’s most unique feature is its vineyard on the roof! The well-equipped, spacious rooms provide breath-taking views across the surrounding vineyards, making the Hacienda Abascal a haven of relaxation and discovery.
Luxury Grade - Residencia Real Castillo de Curiel
The medieval castle of Curiel de Duero dates back to the Romans, and is the most ancient fortress in the province of Valladolid. Today, the fortress is a luxury hotel, with 26 rooms, a traditional restaurant, terraces and a swimming pool on the roof! Every guestroom has been individually designed as a dedication to the castle’s previous residents, with magnificent views over the valley. The superb service that you will receive in this unique hotel will ensure an unforgettable trip.
