Dates and Prices

The 2009 trip will run between the 23rd and the 26th April and the 18th and the 21st June. As with all our trips, the emphasis is on making the ideal trip for you, so you can add nights as you wish. If you wish to extend your trip, we will provide you with details of the local area and additional places that are of interest to visit, along with restaurant recommendations.

Prices

The prices below includes a Dover to Calais ferry crossing for 1 car and 2 people, 2/3 nights bed and breakfast in your chosen accommodation, and the guided tour(s) (transport in luxury mini coach, tastings, lunch(es) and English speaking guide). These prices are per person and based on 2 people sharing a twin/ double room.

Travel Options

Given the wide range of travel options, the base price doesn’t include any travel. The principle options are as follows:

• Fly to Paris (numerous operators) and get the TGV to Dijon. There will be no supplement for substituting your TGV for your ferry crossing if booked over 90 days in advance of departure. You will need to book your own flight.
• Travel by Eurostar and TGV (high speed train). Dijon is around 90 minutes from Paris by train. There will be a supplement starting at £69 per person – the train prices increase as departure date nears so early booking is recommended.
• Eurotunnel crossing from Folkestone to Calais. The supplement for this will be from £20 per person.
• Fly to Lyon and hire a car. Your journey from Lyon will be 2 hours to Dijon. You will need to book your own flight and can deduct £33 per person from the Grape Escapes holiday price. If you need a hire car from Lyon airport then we can arrange a hire car for you. Price on application.
