However, for our Budget and Flexible Porto Wine Tasting Weekends, we are offering a choice of four grades of accommodation across five hotels:

Tradition Grade - Grande Hotel de Paris

The Grande Hotel de Paris is a charming 2* hotel located in Porto city centre, just a five minute walk from the main Liberdade Square and the São Bento train station. It has recently been refurbished in an Art Deco style, whilst preserving the atmosphere of the old times with original antique furnishings. Each of the 45 rooms are equipped with an en-suite bathroom, TV and central heating. WIFI is available in the hotel's public areas and a bar, breakfast room, reading room with library and a pretty garden are available.

Superior Grade - Grande Hotel do Porto

The 3* Grande Hotel do Porto is located on a pedestrian street in downtown Porto and is within a short walking distance of the city's monuments, churches and museums. This delightful hotel is decorated in a Renaissance and Art Deco fashion and was carefully renovated in 2002 to evoke a 1950's style with Belle Epoque furnishings whilst keeping its late Victorian facade and elaborate exterior detail.

The hotel offers 97 comfortable rooms, equipped with individual air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms with bath/shower combinations and wireless internet. Both Standard and Classic rooms are available. The latter are located on the top floor of the hotel and are more spacious with higher quality amenities.

Elegant Grade - Teatro Hotel

The 4* Teatro Hotel is situated adjacent to the World Heritage classified district, just a two minute walk from Liberdade Square and São Bento train station. Built on the site of the revered 1859 Teatro Baquet, this elegant, innovative hotel remains faithful to its theatrical and spectacular roots whilst offering a stylish and contemporary ambience.

Decorated in shades of bronze and gold, each of the 74 modern-style guest rooms are equipped with mini-bars, air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, WIFI, direct dial telephones, desks and en-suite bathrooms with hair dryers. A restaurant and a bar are also available.

Luxury Grade - Infante de Sagres Hotel

Having undergone a recent renovation, the 5* Infante de Sagres hotel is Porto's leading boutique hotel and is a true icon of sophistication and intimacy. It is located in the city's historical district, a few metres from Liberdade Square, City Hall and the art district.

This "Small Luxury Hotels of the World" establishment seamlessly blends a Neo-Baroque atmosphere with contemporary decor in a 1950's building, providing a landmark hotel where guests will experience a personal service and the intimacy of a private residence. The hotel's most notable features include the unique Boca do Lobo Bar, which serves an impressive selection of cocktails and the Boco do Lobo restaurant, whose Chef creates a fine mix of traditional and international cuisine. O Pátio is one of Porto's best-known venues for al fresco luncheons and romantic candlelit dinners.

Guests who are staying in the hotel's 70 sumptuous rooms enjoy an unparalleled level of service. Each room is equipped with satellite TV, a mini-bar, stylish traditional furniture and double-glazed windows.

Luxury Grade - The Yeatman Wine Hotel and Spa

Opened in September 2010 and located amongst the ancient Port wine lodges, the 5* Yeatman offers breathtaking views of the Douro river and of Porto from its extensive grounds and from each of its 68 guests room, which have individual terraces and private gardens.

Although it is close to the city's main attractions, this traditional Portuguese manor house's tranquil location provides a luxurious haven in which to enjoy the landscaped grounds, relax in one of the infinity pools or be pampered with luxurious treatments in the Wine Spa. Offering a range of specially formulated wine-based therapies and products, the wine spa has six therapy rooms, some of which have panoramic views, barrel bath immersions, aromatherapy steam rooms and a Roman bath relaxation area.

The Oeno-gastronomic restaurant, The Yeatman serves imaginative cuisine and a Port wine Bar and a lounge bar are available for pre and post dinner drinks The hotel also boasts a concierge service, valet parking, an indoor private car park, an indoor heated swimming pool, a gymnasium, a business centre and a cigar room.
