Travel Options:

  • Ferry crossing from Dover to Calais. This is the standard way to cross the channel. The crossing takes approximately one 1/2 hours. Please contact us for a quotation. The driving time from Calais to Tours is approximately five hours.

This is a quick way to cross the channel – drive your car onto the train and reach Calais in approximately 35 minutes.
  • Fly to Paris (numerous operators) and get the TGV to Tours. The TGV starts at around £30 per person return if booked over 90 days in advance of departure. You will need to book your own flight.
  • Travel by Eurostar and TGV (high speed train). Tours is less than an hour from Paris by train. Train prices increase as departure date nears so early booking is recommended. Best prices are obtained if tickets are booked four months in advance of departure.
  • Ryanair flight from London Stansted to Tours. The airport is less than 10 minutes’ away from the city centre by airport coach transfer or taxi. If you need a hire car from Tours airport then we can arrange a hire car for you. Please use our car hire engine for a quotation on your preferred grade of car.
