Location
The hotel is situated in a small square just yards from the river Vienne. A 10 minute walk past the shops and restaurants of the town will bring you to the chateau with commanding views across the town. The vineyards of Chinon can be found outside the town while the vineyards of Saumur-Champigny and Bourgueil are both within 20 minutes drive. The city of Tours is a 40 minute journey to the east while 25 minutes drive to the west will bring you to the bustling riverside town of Saumur.

The main building is a 19th century house constructed from the local tufa-stone with 18 rooms, while behind this 4 larger rooms with garden views have recently been added. The Maison Bourgeoise offers accommodation of a grander scale with high ceilings or exposed wooden beams. These 8 rooms are all very large and can sleep up to 5 people upon request.
