The hotel is situated on the banks of the river Vienne at the edge of the town of Chinon, just across the river from the castle. The vineyards of Chinon can be found outside the town itself, while the vineyards of Saumur-Champigny and Bourgueil are both within 20 minutes drive. The city of Tours is a 40 minute journey to the east while 25 minutes drive to the west will bring you to the bustling riverside town of Saumur.
