Our flagship hotel in the Loire for the 2006 season, this property is truly outstanding. The château, built in 1475, is situated in a 250 acre park with views across the Coutineau valley. Each of the 12 rooms is unique and decorated in the colours of a historical figure from the region’s past. The hotel is an oasis of calm and elegance where you immediately feel special.
Location
The château is situated at the end of a long drive in the midst of its own walled estate. It is located just outside the village of Noyant de Touraine. The vineyards of Chinon are just 10 minutes drive to the west and the town of Chinon and city of Tours can both be reached in less than 25 minutes.
Facilities
Various reception rooms on the ground floor are available for use by the residents staying at the château including a 19th century chapel. Guests can also enjoy the location with a trip round the health and fitness circuit in the grounds or just take a stroll down the lawn to the lake and spot the spectacular wildlife that lives on the estate.
Accommodation
Château de Brou offers a range of rooms and suites from the outstanding value of Diane de Poitiers to the truly opulent Tour Charles VII. The rooms are decorated in a traditional style and are come complete with period furniture. However, the modern amenities are not neglected as all rooms are air-conditioned and have satellite TV and several have Jacuzzi baths.
