Industrial Action in France This Weekend

We have received news from SNCF that the French industrial action is due to continue on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th June on the French rail network. It is estimated that 50% of trains will be running this weekend.

The following link provides a live timetable update http://www.sncf.com/en/timetables-updates-traffic , however it is difficult to ascertain exactly which services will be running until a couple of hours prior to departure. We will of course update customers travelling with us when we receive further updates, however at the moment we are advising our customers to continue with their trips. In the event that your train is indeed affected by the industrial action, you will be able to board any train on your day of travel.

If you are travelling with Eurostar and your rail travel has been booked as a throughfare, this means that you are able to seek advice from the Train Manager on board with regards to onward travel from Paris. London to Paris Eurostar services have not been affected at all by the strike action.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us on +44 (0) 1920 46 86 66 if we can be of any assistance . If you need to contact us out of office hours or over the weekend, the telephone number for our 24 hour Duty Manager is +44 (0) 7879 99 28 98.
