These packages are designed with total flexibility in mind. Choose between a two and three night stay in the impressive town of Beaune.

The tours offer the opportunity to visit a selection of wineries in the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, together with a three or four course tasting lunch or dinner and an evening tasting session in a centrally-located Burgundian wine cellar.

For those looking for a mid-week or weekend break that offers a good introduction to the various tastes and styles of Burgundy wines available, these tours may be the answer. Everything is within walking distance of the city centre and the transported tours have a central departure point (as opposed to our Premium tour, where guests are met at and returned to their hotels).

Flexible Beaune Packages

Standard Beaune

The two nights’ Standard Beaune break includes:

Two nights bed and breakfast in your preferred city centre hotel.
Either A, Departing from central Beaune, your English speaking guide will accompany you on a full day tour in the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits in an air-conditioned off-road vehicle. During the first part of the tour, you will be introduced to the origin of the great Chardonnay wines from the famous vineyards of Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet. In addition, the Pinot Noir grape from Pommard, Volnay and Santenay will be shown along the Côte de Beaune. Your guide will reveal to you the secrets of Burgundy wine whilst you enjoy a glass of wine in the heart of the vineyards. The tour will conclude with a visit to a nearby domaine in the Côte de Beaune, where the owner will take you on a full tour of the estate and explain his wines as you taste them. In the afternoon, you will discover the region where Pinot Noir reigns supreme, driving through the famous vineyards of Nuits Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanée, Vougeot, Chambolle-Musigny, Morey-Saint-Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin. Your time in the Côte de Nuits will then conclude with a visit to a second domaine, for a tour of the estate and cellars and tastings.
Or B, a chauffeur will take you to and from the famous village of Puligny Montrachet, where you will start your tour as the guests of one of the biggest names in the village. The experience with them will include an hour spent learning about the work in the vineyard before returning to their winery in the centre of the village where you will enjoy a tour of their estate. Following the tour, you will transfer to their tasting rooms where a broad tasting of ten wines from the Cote de Beaune (including Premier Cru wines from Chassagne Montrachet, Puligny Montrachet, Meursault and Volnay and a Grand Cru Corton Charlemagne) will be offered alongside a delightful three course lunch. The owners and staff are very gracious hosts and the wine tastings and meal always prove both enjoyable and enlightening. After being dropped back off in Beaune, a further tasting session will ensue as the guests of a town centre wine merchant.
An early evening tasting session of three wines from good estates region in a traditional Burgundian wine cellar. Your knowledgeable host will talk you through tastings of ten varied Burgundy wines.
A four course gourmet dinner in a premium city centre restaurant, accompanied by three local wines, water and coffee.
