Summary
The smallest and most intimate hotel in our program for 2006, La Chouette is ideally situated in the centre of the grand cru village of Puligny Montrachet and you are guaranteed a friendly welcome by Suzanne and Thierry. This is an ideal hotel for small groups or friends travelling together.
Location
The hotel is less than a minute’s walk from the tree lined village square. The town of Beaune is 10 minutes drive, while the town of Nuits St Georges and the vineyards of the Cotes De Nuits can be reached in less than 30 minutes.
Facilities
La Chouette is a comfortable Burgundian home with a grand lounge area, a fire place and a library. Access to the kitchen and laundry facilities may be arranged on request. The private garden, terrace and enclosed parking are adjacent to the Cote d'Or vineyards.
Accommodation
The hotel has just 6 rooms, of which all are spacious and comfortable with a pleasant homely feel. All have a modern bathroom and come with the usual amenities including a mini bar, satellite television, a safe and an ADSL internet connection.
If your group is too large for La Chouette, similar accommodation may be arranged at Le Montrachet which is just down the road. Also managed by Suzanne and Thierry, the 3 star Montrachet is a 31 room hotel facing onto the square and has a truly elegant dining room. |
