This year, we are offering a choice of 2 hotels; Hotel Philippe Le Bon and the Hostellerie du Chapeau Rouge

The hotel offers 32 spacious guestrooms decorated with antique furniture, giving a homely feel. The restaurant serves excellent regional food and has an extensive and exquisite selection of wines. The hotel is situated on a quiet street, just 5 minutes walk away from the centre of the city. As well as having an excellent restaurant, the hotel has a wine museum and a collection of modern art. All the staff are very friendly and will make your stay enjoyable.

The historic and picturesque centre of Dijon is just minutes away by foot, and the railway station a five minute walk. This 4* hotel dates from the 16th Century and has been tastefully renovated to give a modern and comfortable atmosphere. Each room is individually decorated and offers spacious accommodation. The restaurant has a sophisticated and exciting menu. This hotel offers a truly relaxing environment in the heart of the busy town centre.

Dates
The 2008 trip will run between the 15th and the 18th May and the 23rd and the 26th October. As with all our trips, the emphasis is on making the ideal trip for you, so you can add nights as you wish. If you wish to extend your trip, we will provide you with details of the local area and additional places that are of interest to visit, along with restaurant recommendations.

Prices
The prices below includes a Dover to Calais ferry crossing for 1 car and 2 people, 2/3 nights bed and breakfast in your chosen accommodation, and the guided tour(s) (transport in luxury mini coach, tastings, lunch(es) and English speaking guide). These prices are per person and based on 2 people sharing a twin/ double room.

Travel Options
The base price includes a return Dover to Calais ferry crossing for a car and two people. The driving time to Dijon from Calais is approximately 5 hours. The other options are as follows:

• Travel by Eurostar and TGV (high speed train). Dijon is around 90 minutes from Paris by train. There will be a supplement starting at £59 per person – the train prices increase as departure date nears so early booking is recommended.
• Fly to Paris (numerous operators) and get the TGV to Dijon. There will be no supplement for substituting your TGV for your ferry crossing if booked over 90 days in advance of departure. You will need to book your own flight.
• Eurotunnel crossing from Folkestone to Calais. The supplement for this will be £20 per person.
• Fly to Lyon and hire a car. Your journey from Lyon will be 2 hours to Dijon. You will need to book your own flight and can deduct £32 per person from the Grape Escapes holiday price. If you need a hire car from Lyon airport then we can arrange a hire car for you from just £88 including all taxes, charges and full CDW (zero excess).
